My cozy ca. 16 m^2 room in a 9 person WG (WOKO) is freeing up at the start of April! With wooden floor, a large window giving plenty of light, and a small walk-in closet, there's ample opportunity to furnish a home here for any student.
The WOKO house is located in Affoltern, close to the Hönggerberg campus of ETH. There is a large both kitchen and living room just outside the door with plenty of light and a spacious balcony. A bathroom with shower is shared with two others of the flat, which has always worked great for me.
Some furniture is included as part of the WOKO contract (basic chair, desk, and small bed (not pictured)), and I could be persuaded to sell some of my stuff as well.
In the flat we are 9 students at ETH, UZH and ZHdK, mostly internationals. We hang out plenty at dinner most days, or going to gym/sauna/watching movies together in smaller groups. Spoken languages are mostly English, but with a fair bit of German and a small amount of Italian. |
